Jake Stephens

Jake was elected to the Board of Trustees on October 27, 2018, to represent Wards 7, 8, 9, 10, and 13 in London, Ontario. He is the father of two children and a proud District School Board parent. Jake has worked passionately to advance student achievement and well-being by pushing technology-driven initiatives like coding and robotics and improving safety in school zones.

He is the Chair of the Planning and Priorities Advisory Committee, a Director of the Thames Valley Education Foundation and a Director of the Ontario Public School Board Association.Jake was elected to the Board in the 2018 municipal election. During his time at DSB, Jake has chaired various committees including, Negotiations, Professional Development, and Policy. Jake also served as Chair and Vice-Chair of the Board.Jake Stephens was elected as school trustee in the October 2018 municipal election.

Jake was born and raised in East York, graduating from RS McLaughlin in Oshawa. He sits on the board of directors of the Education Fund, and works with our students in the United Way Stair Climb and Back Pack for kids programs in Oxford County. George has been involved in Future Oxford Community Committee.
